Really interesting sessions on how to start dabbling in Angel Investing and how it helps build some yet undiscovered strategic muscles for startup founders and encourages them to view their business and the world from the other side of the table converted.
- Women Founders got several nods throughout the day today … great advise on scaling, funding and just some very inspiring stories from the likes of Victoria Peppiatt and other ladies which was so appreciated … makes a world of difference for our confidence levels as a women led startup …
- EQL:HER stage was an absolute favourite for me - need it bigger next time LTW !
- Special nod to ADDSEN for their eye catching T-shirts which had every woman founder in LTW requesting photos 😄
- Niche niche niche - seems to be the big message - if you are into product - pick a hyper focussed problem area niche and then get a solution for it … really impressed with the simple but effective use case solutions by the likes of Stamp Free AI (https://stampfree.ai/) … kudos guys 👏
- Interesting to see how AI Fraud Analytics and fraud detection efforts sometimes tip the balance against their implementation when it comes to trade offs with frictionless payment experiences for Retailers- if the losses are not too great … great panel on this today
- AND drum roll and sparkling stars please for Professor Brian Cox’s enlightening lecture on the intersection of science and technology and quantum physics and black holes . He did lose me once the qubit formulae came on screen but hey ho … 😄
For Synaptyx AI there were two key takeaways today
… we met with investors and angels and triple checked our strategy and got some good advise on scaling & way forward …
… Our value proposition is complex and yes we are not just a product or services company and sort of sit in the value business of technology agnostic consulting and solutions space where we build just the middle layer of accelerators … but it’s unique in its own right and a differentiated proposition at that and it felt good to hear that from people who invest in businesses for a living 🥰
Lastly everything is way more fun when you get to do it with your childhood friend and a brilliant inspiring woman in her own right ... Rashmi Sharma thanks for spending the day with me and for all the positivity 🤗
